My dads Chevy II has the same oil pan as you have . I used a big block pump with a kit that bolts on where the bottom plate of the pump would normally be . it has a screen on the bottom that acts as the pick up . I really like this set up because there is no pick up to fall off . The big block pump is only for strength as I've had small block pumps break at the neck in the past . I did the same thing on a big block, used the Schumann main body with the CVR billet pickup. There's some machining involved but it's been working well.
