Gary, I've looked also and found nothing. I looked at a National Dragster advertisement for a division event (where the payouts used to appear). There was very detailed listing of entry and ticket charges, but nothing about payouts. There was a rumor at Atlanta that no prize money/payout would be mailed, but I never bothered to see what the payouts were. One of those things I haven't had to worry about much, but now I'm curious.

They dont want you to know the bad news till you get to the track and pay to enter. Then they will give you the payout sheet.

Lyn.....that must be a Div. 3 thing because I've never been handed a payout sheet here in Div. 2.
Hey Mike. How have you been? Are you going to Reynolds? Joe Pinkston 2155 S/ST

Joe, I've never seen the payout sheet, either. But, there's good news! I got a letter from Atlanta Dragway to send back in order to release a check for our round wins. Years ago, Divisional payouts were controlled by the track, not NHRA. This may still be the case.
...yes, we'll be at Reynolds. |
