Default Re: Jerico 5-speed LONG-shifter

If you shift it slowly does it work correctly? Is there anything rubbing or holding on the 2 springs that pull down? A problem with the springs that pull down on the lever would be my only thoughts, you can call out to long and see if they have any ideas ran their shifters for years and never once had an issue. Good luck Joe

I have the same shifter but a G-Force 5 speed. Last season I had something like this happen, but the shifter linkage hung in-between gears. Trans went from 4th to 3rd if I recall and the shifter would not move. I found the shifter loose on the trans mounting bracket. You did not find the 2 shifter mounting bolts loose when pulling the trans?
