Note that this combination has backed off from the original 450 cubic inches. The throttle body was also reduced to 4 x 2.00". So far, I think that there has been a real effort on the NHRA's part to keep these combinations as close to par as possible.

I don't understand why Chevy doesn't offer this motor in the COPO's:
