Talking Re: Live from New England Dragway - NHRA Lucas Oil Series

SuperStockers turned out at NED also- only one made a record attempt - the truck of chassis builder Mark Markow - his try was a little soft on the leave and came up short .

After being in storage for just over twenty years the LaBelle & Stickles Camaro returned - Circus paint and all . George LaBelle piloted his ride once again .

A little history - The black Nova Super Stocker pictured above once belonged to Joe Santangelo Sr. and was campaigned as an SS/I back in the day at Connecticut Dragway. It is now owned by Ed Chin and Ray Knight is driving it this weekend.

Original 455 HO car that my father bought new in 1971 and we have had ever since. Doug Armstrong at A&J Automotive did the machine work on the block, cylinder heads were done by my Father and Jason Dix at Arsenault Cylinder Heads . Other minor machine work and engine assembly we did ourselves.
