Default 1970 NHRA World Finals

Dallas International Motor Speedway

Great footage of Sox & Martin along with other stars from the day with great in-car and other action shots. Professionally filmed..

Part 2

I'm in part 1 also my sister. She is sitting in my SS/FA 1968 Mustang at 4:49 and I'm at 7:53 and 8:33. I remember she did an interview but I don't remember doing it!!

I'm sorry but I don't know anything about that car. The car I remember was a 70 Challenger racing SS/DA and driven by Terry Earwood. Terry worked with Bill Tanner and he is who you need to talk to. His brother Steve Earwood who has the Rockingham drag strip may also know something about that car. Another place in Atlanta to check is Barnett Performance.

Good luck,
Rusty

Thank you very much. I left a message for Terry at the racing school. I really hope to talk to him. I will call Barnett and Rockingham tomorrow. Again, THANK YOU.

At about 1:40 in to Part 1, they do a side story on Sox & Martin with some testing footage.

Note the single 4 bbl intake and THERMOQUAD going on to the Hemi. Wild stuff...
