No Sportsmen at IHRA Martin this weekend?

Well Billy Meyer bankrupted the IHRA doing the same thing.

I really am not inclined to run NHRA points races as we have a "No SeaDoo racing policy."

Two years or so ago we were in a rain situation and every day they started the practice rotation over. So SS got zero runs in 3 days before it rained. You would think common sense would prevail. However, the third day it finally was time for us to make our first pass, and the snowmobiles got sent down ahead of us in a marvelous moment of "changing the run order." I have scheduled race series before for a number of years and it is very difficult to keep everyone happy. The Martin race is a welcome two day race where we as sportsman racers are the focus not the Pros.

Box, what is the payout for the IHRA Sportsman race?

Grand Bend was a grand plus all those wonderful stickers. There was 200.00 cheque from Clevite right then and there.

That was the Sunday race. Not sure what Saturday paid.

Wow! I have never been to a track that ran snowmobiles. Really? LOL!
I would addopt the same policy.
I would not go anywhere I knew was running them.

they run all sorts of crazy stuff in div 3. snow mobiles also known as belt sanders and lots of motorcycle stuff, . draggin baggers. don't know when they have time for the real race cars. LOL

There was a young man killed, last year if I remember correctly, at Martin when he lost control of his snowmobile.

Looking at other discussions on class racer, people wondering why NHRA can't do double week ends, I think IHRA is right on . Having these double Pro Am races is great . I think we should be supporting IHRA as much as we can.
