Can your personal physician give you a physical to satisfy a Federal Motor Carrier physical for a CDL or are you better off going to one of those places that specializes in doing them???

pretty sure they can, bring in the paperwork, its kind of basic, I have my NHRA and CDL physical done at the same time, paid for by job.

that's kinda what I am thinking my physical for NHRA license is up in Oct--get em both done at the same time--Thanx Regards FED387

Effective May 21, 2014, commercial drivers can no longer get a DOT exam performed by their general practitioner, internal medicine physician, chiropractor or other provider unless that provider is certified and listed on the National Registry of Medical Examiners.
