Maybe not April 1st, but I thought perhaps the "Silly Season" (off season rumors) had started early.

I can see NHRA's spin on it now....."See, now it only takes running .6 under to qualify for Indy instead of .9 under!

I'm hoping to get an Aspen together to try NHRA and work my way further under as time and money permit. But this would make it that much more difficult for ANYONE trying to get started! Seems counter-productive, unless it's part of their "master plan".

It would be a good, but controversial, practical joke if someone made up a new index chart!

Not that I believe it. But if they did knock another .3 off the indexes, it would make for more business for IHRA and local S/SS races.
