There's a great feature story about the Brainbeau and Berejik Olds teams on Competition Plus.

Great article about a couple of really smart and creative guys-----In 1966 I was a 22 year old line mechanic for Bendall Pontiac with a new black 66 442 W30 post sedan ( which really p----d them off ) Bob and Woody were THE class of these cars and really set the bar for them. I would read every week how fast they had gone somewhere and wondered how the h---- they could do that, and of course that made me work harder to try and catch up. I heard a few years ago that Woody had gotten his car back and was getting ready to race. I still have my car and thought man that would be cool and a lot of fun to have a little grudge race sometime somewhere but unfortunately Woody had some health issues and had to sell his car. ------ Now I learn he is living in Fort Pierce Fl. just 20 minutes up the intercostal from me. How great would that be to maybe sit in front of the garage and shoot the ----- with Woody about those days. We could even take turns beatin the snot out of my old car on the way to cruise night in Jensen Beach. :-)

Great article about 2 Great guys, was lucky enough to go to Indy with them in 1965, test at Muncie before Indy, rub graphite on the car to make it slippery in the air, We, Bruce, Brian Bachelder and myself took the 63 Z-11 that was at that time a C/MP to Woody and Bob for them to do their tricks to the rear suspension, oh for the good old days.

Sam Murray's 67 held the D/S record in 2006, and I believe it is the first Olds 400 stocker to run in the tens.
