Default Re: Early 1970s Raceway News Scans

But the place I remember was a snack bar in a wooden building...on the same side
as Cantore's...but towards Route 18....I think? Served regular comfort-style food but
maybe with a German-flair? Cantore's was a brick building...Anybody remember
this place?

Yes I do remember Trans-End....and the "Just-Me" SS/I Camaro...a hard charger at
that time...They always had a repairs trailer at most of the bigger events...lots of
stick guys used them at that time...

Anybody remember Trans-Torque? Think it arrived later as a subsidiary of
Trans-End...for the automatic guys. Possibly located in the greater Old Bridge
area? A buddy of mine took a smoked powerglide there for repairs but after
inspection was told it was all junk...and so was his season.
