trans brake button method ?

just curious what everybody does on transbrake button release? button on steering wheel,4tenths pro tree.do you use just your thumb and release the button,I see a lot of racers use there whole arm and jerk the thumb of the transbrake button using complete arm movement that way.what is your opinion of what is better & more consistent? of course we all use gloves per rules and that can affect the feel of the button.what is the best gloves to use for this? or does that even matter.do some racers palm the buttom?

Everyone will have a different opinion. The only one that matters is the one that works for you. Borrow or buy a practice tree device. You will see quickly which method is better for you.

Mine's mounted by the shifter such that my right arm naturally pivots down on top of the button. Like stated above, though, everyone's got what works best for them. You might need to mount it in a few locations and try it to see what gives you the quickest release.

I agree with Voltdr, everyone Is different. my testing with a practice tree indicated that my index finger with the button mounted on the steering wheel worked best for me. I have found that the amount of pressure You hold down your finger with can also affect how quickly you release the button.
But as he said get a practice tree and find what works for you.

I have found that twisting my wrist proved to be more consistent and faster.

I use the K/R box with the Z Force option where you tap the button to dump the trans brake,used by a lot of the big hitters like Troy Williams Jr.
