Indexes for New Classes

To me a real number is; it would take a very good run at a fast track, Gainesville, Bell Rose, Englishtown, by a very good car to go -1.05 to -1.10 under. Under that logic would you also be OK with a penalty for all of the cars that ran fast at a National Open or during class eliminations this year (regardless of year model)?

What ever the indexes are the AHFS must apply to all cars in the eliminator.

I don't see much issue with this as long as the index for any factory shootout is corrected to allow good heads-up racing without fear of penalty.
