Just finished going through the Phil Bonner section in the Ford Drag Team book. What an accomplished racer. Looks like we have another legend drag racing in heaven. What an event that would be with all the great racers we have lost. R.I.P. Daddy Warbucks.

I met him several times and he was a true southern gentleman. I remember seeing the Falcon running at Dallas Georgia, painted blue, after he had sold it to a local racer. May he rest in peace, John Kissel
