Im pretty sure in 64 Super Sports, Impalas,Bel airs, and Biscaynes all had different side moldings.Pm me if you are looking for moldings.

Regular Impala molding in '64 had the raparound style like you described,, also on '64 Nova SS and Chevelle SS hardtops.
Impala SS had the thicker molding only,,, full length along the beltline.
