This is not a personal attack on A100, but more so some food for thought for the unplease-able masses. Maybe he's laying the ground work for a new type of Pro Stock where the cars appear to be stock again like you have all asked for. One moment you complain that a Pro Stock Camaro looks nothing like what you drive on the street, and the next you say the guy is disconnected because he is trying to kill Pro Stock as we know it. What do you want?

And suddenly, you have even more wall banging track oilers. Who wants to see close racing? And pairs of cars making full passes? LOL

I personally love Pro Stock, and thought this year was the best ever. It may well have saved Pro Stock. I was rooting for Elite, but had Jason won it would have still produced a true champion. He was a gracious runner up, and nothing to be ashamed of. I do not know what NHRA plans for Pro Stock in the future, but completely changing it will, in my opinion, be the death blow.

I love it like it is. I am more impressed by NA power than blowers, turbo or for sure nitrous. Races are so close, and the vast majority can make a full pass every time. It's hard for me to understand guys saying they can't tell them apart. Heck, new cars look a lot alike on the street. The Pro Stock Camaro looks narrower than one in the parking lot. And?? What does that have to do with racing?

I agree. Pro Stock racing was better this year than any year I can remember. Quite a few times the #16 car was a good light away from winning it all. Much better than the old days when Glidden or WJ had the field covered by .2 and everyone else was running for 2nd place.
