Default Re: Cars out of retirement

Jim has the Les Norton, Ronnie West 65 Belvedere and a beautiful car. I think it now has a 2 4bbl motor in Stock Eliminator. History; Les I think sold it to Ronnie West who unfortunately passed away, and his family sold it to Adrian Vega who owns Acadiana Dodge in Lafayette. Adrian was a long time friend of mine. He had the black 65, and new V10 DP (oo7) a nice S/G car along with several really big Indy Cyl Head motors, and lots of parts and stuff for racing. He only rented the track, and brought a gang and had a good time with his cars. Unfortunately soon after getting both the 65 and the DP he was diagnosed with cancer, and it wasn't good. After his untimely demise, I went to appraise the racing operation for the family as they had no interest in any of it. Long and short they asked me to make an offer as they were not interested in it. Jim Bailey got the 65, we now race the DP in SS which Kevin Helms drives. Sold the SG car, sold all the motors (I think there were 8 or 10) and sold the trailer, and I'm not sure what else. That 65 is as nice as any I have seen. Bailey, the driver, needs some help though.
