I-80 in PA is down one hill and up the next, versus I-90 in NY, which has one hard pull about 30 miles west of Albany, and a similar down hill about 20 miles past that. I would agree that it might be worth running the extra miles to avoid dealing with the border.

Got back a couple of hours ago. Left yesterday am 3.20 arrived via 90 route(didn't go through canada) at 4:15 PM 835 miles. Ohio has some nice roads and maybe the nicest rest area on the turnpike I have seen! Stayed the night in Cleveland then straight back.

A 100% drama free drive.

Ironically driving to Michigan seemed easier much than going to Atco or Englishtown!
