396 Stocker Motor won't RPM - Page 2

Bobby did you ever fix the 396? I had one do that years ago it was a piece of trash in one of the main jets.

Track closed for the year before I could make another run. When I pulled the motor I did find the wire coming from the alternator had been cut and was wedged between the motor and the frame. Could be the alternator was shorting out the electrical system and causing issues. I will still replace the launch rpm module this winter just incase.
