I raced a white 64 savoy around central Texas and don't remember seeing this car.

Is your friend wanting to sell the car or is he planning to restore it?

Harmie, You may be on to something. I remember a Dickie Simpson, but can't remember his car.

There is a Dickie Simpson in Denton and looks to be the dad of Todd Simpson, TA/FC runner. He seems to own a construction company from a Googly search. I hope that helps out.

I've reached out to both Marc. Also left a message on the VM for the race shop. Hopefully the lead pans out.

Thanks a bunch for helping out fellas.

Check Facebook group "Arkansas Drag Racers and Dragstrips Past and Present"
Check Jackie Lewis's post.

Cville Dragway Johnny goodnoh from mulberry ark. Marty drove. This was hemi powered. They later had a volare with a hemi and lenco Trans that held centervilledragway track record for several years. Craig Stevens owns the volare now

.
Cville Dragway This car had those long collector extensions that blew the tire smoke when he did a burnout. I loved to watch him do a burnout

Planning to restore it. We're looking for historic images that would help in restoring it.
