Coming South? This SSSSA Race Is For You!

The Southern Stock/Super Stock Association will be kicking off our 2015 race season with a one day (Sunday) race at Orlando Speed World on Sunday March 1st, 2015. The three weeks previous to this date are filled with races at Immokalee (IHRA), Orlando (NHRA), and Gainesville (NHRA) and the GatorNationals March 12-15th. So if your coming down to run these races join us in opening our season at Orlando Speed World on March 1st, 2015. Gates will open at 10am. You pay a gate fee and then $75 to race. Our races are open to all NHRA, IHRA legal Stock and Super Stock combos in addition to NMCA NMC and NSS class cars. So instead of sitting around for two weeks waiting for the Gators, come on out and race with the SSSSA and have a fun Sunday!

* This will be an SSSSA points race. All drivers must be a member to race. Membership is $20 per year and may be purchased in tech.

What is a gate fee?

$75 for the race plus the gate fee which is usually 10-15 per person. You also have a fee of $20 to join the assn. May be for the guys that are from out of town and will only be attending the one race they might wave that fee. Jim woods or Jim Whal would have to address that. They pay back 100% of the race fee back to the racers. It's a good time.

I hate to say, but thats one of the reasons we don't race any of the races. 20.00 isnt a lot, but the first time we raced one of the races it was the last race of the year and paid $20 for myself as well as the car owner. We both paid, ran one race and then the following year we went to the first race and paid for me a second time. I run the southeast super gas association and you do not have to pay to be a member to race, you only pay if you want to be included in the points and to chase the championship. Drop the assn fee and you will get more participation

I will pay your $20, I dont want that to be the reason you dont show up. We are not changing the rules, however we do listen to the majority.Hope you can make it

If a lousy 20 bucks makes a difference if you go to a race or not, you need to consider another hobby. So many racers would love the opportunity to race with this association.Hope you guys get plenty of support this year.M.J.
