In my opinion Div. 2 has gone two for two for having two very good quality races. The track hooked and the schedule was tweaked according to what the weather dictated using a common sense approach. A large part of the schedule success was do to all the racers prompt response when called to the lanes.
What a difference a director makes. |

Perhaps we should send the director and track operators from those two venues to Washington and give those politicos a lesson or two in how to get stuff done by working together.....

We pulled out of the track this morning and moved down the road to the KOA in Starke, FL. We have a very nice pull thru spot, but we ended up pulling up and dropping the trailer in the front of the site and then pulled the motorhome behind the trailer so all the hookups would reach. So we have electricity, water, sewer, cable and wifi for a week until we go back to the track for the points race next week. They are supposed to start parking next Wednesday from 4-8 for the divisional race. We will park where we will stay all the way thru the Gatornationals. We are looking forward to a nice relaxing week. It is turning cooler and lots of rain, but that's ok. Maybe it will be over by the time we get to race again.

Well we have been here at the KOA in Starke for a couple of days now. Yesterday was laundry day:
![]() The trunk of our little POS was full of 2 weeks worth of dirty laundry! So we get to the Laundromat and use up every washing machine that wasn't out of order. 7, I think. Then the change machine was broken, so Larry had to go to the bank for a roll of quarters. $20 to do laundry! Sure is nice to have that nice laundry room at home! It has been nice and quiet here, but it has rained off and on every since we have been here. Today we are going over to the track and check on some rigs and take in a movie! This retirement stuff is great! Whenever you get a chance, go up to the Class Racer Magazine and catch the article on us! Ken did a great article. Thanks, Ken. |
