Thanks Keith.
Wish you could have been there to get yours, but we were all a little nuts to travel in that weather. I hope you don't mind waiting a few more weeks for yours as they are fairly heavy, and I'm afraid it might not ship well, If the condition of most of my parts deliveries are any indication ! The idea for the award's design was actually Kathy's .

No need to ship. I can wait. Glad you got to see this post. I think this type of stuff is amazing and wanted to be sure you guys got due credit, including Kathy, .... Scary knowing you guys have that many broken/used parts to make all this stuff with.

I fortunately only had one bad camshaft.
Earl and Bob Henry both donated a cam. I change intake valves every year, so they are pretty plentiful. The parts for trophies like George Smith's Sportsman of the Year , or Joe Eckel's "Where are My Keys " unfortunately are far too plentiful ! If we ever run short we can always tap Iggy and Amanda's pile !

Can't forget my stinky sock award from 2012 for finishing dead last in points....lol.
It's all in good fun and if anyone says we don't have fun in this series is drinking too much. It's a good replacement to when Uncle Buck used to give the Winner & Runner-Up of MASGA a Ham, no one will replace that so it's cool to have something new every year that Tom & Earl do. And yes we were crazy to travel in that weather. If it wasn't paid for I would have moved it, it was UGLY!!! |

A few things. My 'Where are my keys' key chain has been helpful. I only have one set of trailer keys and they are on it. The pictures do not do this awards any justice! So, you might want to consider donating any useless BBC camshafts to Tom. Me personally, I would have a cast made & sell them. Great award! Hell, I could hang my key chain on it! Nice stuff fellas.
