As far as coatings go I believe there are others besides the DLC. and you cant run certain oils or additives with certain coatings. There are a bunch of succesful big block engine builders out there and cam manufactures that can put you on the straight and narrow.

Trend and PPPC are two different companies, I use Trend, I do not use PPPC.

There are different types of tool steel lifters, they start at around $24 each, but they go way on up to around $74 each, and which one you need depends on which cam core you use.
