East coast guys: 62 Corvette "HITMAN"

Anyone remember this car from back in the day?

A good friend of my fathers named Jack Strickland that lives outside of Louisburg, NC has had that car for about the last 20 years. He recently sold it to a guy up in VA or MD that was somehow connected to Sonny Leonard if I understood him correctly. He told us about a month ago he had sold it. He bracket raced it, never had it set up for class racing, however, I think it was a modified car at some point. Jack ran super stock w/ his '57 chevy for many years and had aspirations of making the corvette a super stocker at some point but never was able to complete the project. I recently saw a Craigslist ad someone had posted that it was for sale...did you recently buy it?
