Bill--Seems like even the people on the "inside" were blindsided by this one--what a turn around !! By the way, I'm really not sure which cars came from the factory with air shifted transmissions--got any idea ?

I think that the transmission that came equipped with the e-shift is the only unit that should be allowed to use one. Not an aftermarket gadget on an older transmission. There is enough questionable equipment out there already. Why allow an electric shift mechanism that could be programed to shift early or late depending on what data the race pack computer is getting. Think about it.
Maybe they should allow these guys to us a cruise control too, that is if the car came equipped that way.... Last edited by Jim Cimarolli; 11-09-2007 at 11:31 AM. |
