Now just run eliminations on Sunday so I don't have to get to the track so early to see my friends kick tail.

Each will still be a 6 round race.

Ninety (yes, 90) cars withdrew from Sunday afternoon to yesterday (only from Comp down). From 420-something to a final count of 335. Was a little surprised that there were still that many remaining (gluttons?). 335 cars has to rank as one of the lowest car counts ever for a Nat'l event I would think.

Is this the lowest car count at a National ? Why so many people drop out at the last minute ?

The weather forecast, the pit conditions at Houston, and the unpleasant experience of a couple of years ago when the Sportsman were cancelled and many of them had to be towed out of the mud.
