There were two Stock Class final rounds - one (the missing pair) was tacked on to the back end of Super Stock qualifying, the other ran after an intervening qualifying session for something else and in that one three pairs of Class Finals ran as a single session. The first pair sneaked by while we weren't looking.

The reports on DRC have been revised to add the missing pair and a list of all the Class final rounds is also now posted.

The scales are off 60-70 pounds here and it's definitely not "mineshaft"...lol...I sure hope everyone who pulled all there weight out today to take advantage of the scale issue goes weigh in the morning, because I'm sure after the pros rolled across they made them fix the scales...gonna be interesting tomorrow...sure changed the complexity of class eliminations. If the middle of the field would've been 85 under before class I'm sure there would've been some different winners...lol

Is this right?
4074 Jimmie Hutto, Houston, Texas ('71 Camaro/454)

Would that be a Yenko or Motion or something?

When you change from a Camaro to a Corvette, please put Corvette on the tech card, not just "Chevy". "Chevy" could be anything from a Bel Air to a Corvette or Corvair or Citation or Camaro. If you have been driving a Camaro and don't fill out the tech card correctly, it probably won't get changed.

A Camaro with a 454 did not look right, but there were so many limited-edition Camaro combinations produced that it's difficult to remember all the legal combinations, especially when all you have to go on is the tech card.

Well, the rain is here. It should stay till noon. Good news is the forecast looks great after that. We shall see if we have any issues with people stuck in the mud, but it looks like they kept people out of the bad spots. It was getting a little dusty with the crushed concrete they put down, so this little shower should keep that down.

Are you insinuating that your Corvette rated at 345 would beat Big Red running the same motor at 381?

I'm not insinuating anything, just stating facts. I'm smart enough not to flag my combination to win a trophy here in Houston, however I enjoyed the $600 I won in contingency from belle rose...I've been doing this a long time and I bought this vette because it was a good combination and the Cummings family had lined out the car very well, between jimmy hidalgo sr and jr and myself as well as my guys that work with me at Trumble racing engines we put together the current engine that's in the car and if I happen to get a heads up in eliminations this week the numbers will speak for themselves. You'd think the 9.85 I went at the ihra race in pine valley and the 9.98 I went in the CIC race in belle rose would be enough but I guess not...lol...
