I have received my contingency paperwork from NHRA but no money for the eliminator yet. 2 weeks is ridiculous.

Boy NHRA Taking over the Contingency program and pocketing ALL the extra money sure is working. Besides they are gonna need alot more to cover Tom "Drunk as a Monkey" Compton's stay at the Betty Ford Clinic. Our member money at work for us!

The track will not pay purse $ without a W9 on file. They announced that thru out both weekends. Pay out checks come from Florida and typically take 2-3 weeks.

It's called cash management.... they use your money to make some
for themselves. Using a cash reserve system would enable NEXT
DAY payment if they were so inclined. Bob

I left a message on the track answering machine this morning (not the event announcement line).

I called JEGS and left a lengthy message for Shirley Carter.

I then called back and spoke with Matt for quite some time - he seemed genuinely concerned and was surprised by the treatment the racers are getting from Fontana Drag Strip (Bill France/NASCAR). He assured me he would escalate to the proper people.

We closed by me saying - of course - the checks will probably arrive today - he said - so what it took to long.

6/26/15....

Still no mailbox money from the SportsNational.

In the past I've had experience with NHRA paying in a decent amount of time following National events.

I did get a W9 request from VP today. I guess that's a start?
