maybe the people with fake battery's up front just need to work on the suspension and make the car leave with a real battery in it. lmao

This might be a dumb question..What is the rule for cut off switches in Stock? placed in rear of car? I have seen cut off switches under the hood which is totally useless in an accident.

Taking 35-40 lbs. off the nose and moving it to the rear is obviously worth something. Last year at Epping they found 2 fake battery's but let them fix it. Since then they have dq'd anyone caught.

Its not the most offensive bending of the rules that goes on, but likely one of the easiest to detect. If they want to really send the message, they will add the six month vacation that comes with other clearly intentional DQ offenses.

Eric giving people vacations for violations is counterproductive to padding the bottom line at NHRA. I believe they will start just letting the "violator" pay a $fine get it corrected, run the race and then they can see his contribution for the next race he enters.
