When I emailed Mike Baker about 4 months ago concerning Pure Stock springs for a 94 Mustang, he emailed me back and said to keep them at 100# on the seat, stock diameter, STYLE and size. They come without a dampener and listed as such. stock mustangs are around 80-90 on the seat, so 100 was giving it a little extra, but I understood no dampeners if it did not come that way. I would email Mike directly and verify.

Looking at the NHRA spec now...Says with Damper. Measured together are 95lbs Seat Pressure. Jeff Warren built my engine and called Mike Baker for a proper Spring. Contacted him recently looking at Manley Springs replacements and got his concurrence. Will contact him again to make sure! D |

Yours had a dampener from the factory, correct? The Mustang spring does not. That, I think, is the difference.
