When I emailed Mike Baker about 4 months ago concerning Pure Stock springs for a 94 Mustang, he emailed me back and said to keep them at 100# on the seat, stock diameter, STYLE and size. They come without a dampener and listed as such. stock mustangs are around 80-90 on the seat, so 100 was giving it a little extra, but I understood no dampeners if it did not come that way. I would email Mike directly and verify.

Mine are listed with Dampers!
Looking at the NHRA spec now...Says with Damper.
Measured together are 95lbs Seat Pressure.
Jeff Warren built my engine and called Mike Baker for a proper Spring.

Contacted him recently looking at Manley Springs replacements and got his concurrence.
Will contact him again to make sure!

Got concurrence from Mike.
I am ok with having a Damper.

Yours had a dampener from the factory, correct? The Mustang spring does not. That, I think, is the difference.

I do not think so but the Spec sheet says yes!
At any rate both cannot exceed 100 lbs.
