It is well documented that the payouts over the years have significantly decreased as a whole with the contingency.
I wanted to take the opportunity to let everyone know how lucky we are in division 4. The School of Automotive Machinists (SAM) have stepped up to offer a bonus of $500 and $250 to the winner and runner up, respectively, at each divisional. On top of that, Stan and Sheila Holt (Lupe Tortilla), this past weekend at belle rose offered the same bonus! Essentially, the win came with a $2000 check plus contigency! That was a welcomed sight at the scales when Sheila personally handed me a check an Stan greeted me with a WINE water gun shower in the heat! Yall are the best! Thanks to both sponsors for stepping up BIG time. It did not go unnoticed!

Austin, congratulations on the double. We appreciate your praises but without our Division 4 Director, Trey Capps, the program wouldn’t exist. On behalf of the School of Automotive Machinists, thank you and congratulations again.
