Bonus $ for Auto Stk and SS Racers at Cecil Div 1 Event

Hi Guys,

The Cecil County Div 1 race is always right around my Father's Birthday. As most of you know he passed away earlier this year, so we wanted to put together something in his memory for the two classes that really helped put ATI on the map in the early days. Hope to see you all there, and have a great weekend of racing.

Baltimore, MD — ATI Performance Products, Inc. announces the ”Inaugural Jim Beattie Stock/Super Stock Memorial Race” to honor its founder, James Beattie, Sr.

Jim was an avid race fan, inventor and mechanical genius. After proudly serving in the US Navy, Jim opened a modest general transmission rebuilding business which has grown into one of the most dominant high performance manufacturers in the industry. Because of Jim’s passion and drive and innovative knowledge, ATI now produces some of the finest race transmissions, torque converters and high performance components used by racers all over the world. Jim was well loved by family and friends and was well known in the racing world. He will be missed by so many, but his legacy of using cutting edge technology to produce state-of-the-art products for racers lives on with the family business.

The “Jim Beattie Stock / Super Stock Memorial” race will be held during the NHRA Division 1 LODRS event at Cecil County Dragway on August 14 - 16, 2015. Open to racers in the Stock and Super Stock classes, ATI Performance Products will award $1000 to the Winner or Highest Finisher with an automatic transmission package in each class. The award is not contingent on use of ATI product but Racers must display the Jim Beattie Memorial Decal throughout the entire event and all other contingency requirements will apply.

A win at a divisional pays around $3000 if you are "stickered" appropriately . Adding $1000 is a big deal.

Every S/SS car entered should be sporting this decal for Jim regardless of the money.

ATI: Thank you for promoting the sportsman racers like you always have done in the past. JC is keeping ATI moving forward and would certainly make Jim proud of the direction the company is headed.

Contingency Decals can be picked up at the Rineharts Performance Race Cars trailer on the left side of the track on the midway.

We will have the decals either in Tech, or with whomever checks people in at the gate, or I will have them at our race trailer. We are sticking a flyer, catalog, and decals in a bag for the Stk and SS guys. See you all next week.
