IHRA Crate motors

Looking at IHRA's list of accepted GM/Mopar crate motors it seems rather dated. There have been several new factory GM (LS2,LS6.LS7,ZZ572), and Mopar (406 magnum,410 magnum, 440 super commando small block combinations, come along in the last few years, why has the list not been updated?. I think some of these would make awesome crate motor combinations and add a few more wheels up combos to IHRA stock.

I wish that they would allow them. I asked them about the carbed LS6 motor a few years ago and they turned me down. The only way that I can see them being allowed would be if the manufacturers pushed them.
