Anyone run a 29.5 diameter MT slick on their 3rd gen Camaro? I was wondering if the diameter fits in the wheel well opening. I've run a 29 hoosier and it fits with no problem.

If the offset is correct you shouldn't encounter any problems. My 3rd Gen is a Z/28 so I did have to "adjust" the ground effect trim panels at the front of the wheel well slightly. I use the MT 29.5 3056ST tire on 8" wheel. Be sure to roll or remove the fender lip.

Do you remember what wheel offset you used?

I've got 5.5" BS, but could go to a 6.5" BS. I had 6.5" with a spacer. Now I've got more room behind the tire so it would work without spacers.
My concern is with the tire diameter in the wheel well. I see stockers run 30"x9". Surely if they fit a 29.5" will fit. |
