Ok I added a bunch you guys listed. Look and see what I didn't add and list those names. Someday we will have a stick shift nationals somewhere. I want 200 cars to be there. Before people start on me where it needs to be ill say this it will NOT be at Columbus and it wont be on the east coast. Believe it or not there are racers west of Ohio lol.....

Gee, Ed, tell us how you really feel! Its a great idea if you can pull it off,,, might as well make it the Texas Motorplex,, close to home for you,, all concrete,, NOT east coast.
Topeka is centrally located,, maybe they'd come,, make it worth their while.
By the way 3 stick shift racers from D-6 left off your list: Jim, Eric and Gary Waldo.

While I think it's a neat and fun idea, unfortunately in today's world, class racers will not support independent events in the numbers required to make a decent entry fee/payout program financially viable, regardless of the date or location. This has been proven by numerous big money events and promoters over the last few years. People have tried and tried, but they have all failed. I wish that wasn't the reality.

Your best bet is to add it as a specialty shootout on top of an existing event and work a deal where you don't have any track rental involved.
