Just like politicians, "the rules are made for thee, NOT for me"!

The small generators that are not attached or mounted in an RV or trailer are not required to have a stack. It does not matter if a mounted generator runs for 5 seconds or 24 hours it has to have a stack. We are talking about a rule that helps to protect fellow racers from serious injury.

While we are on this subject, how about when you pit next to someone that has the latest and greatest sound system and plays it till the wee hours of the am. Seems like most of these guys and gals always show at the Bowling Green pts. meet.

Well I did not know that a generator that was not in a rv or trailer was not required a exhaust pipe. Seems like I don't understand why.

You could clamp or tie the verticals ex pipe to side of the trailer.
Or, Div 4. Don't want to park next to some of these guys. Not many, but a couple.

Rude people are everywhere. I encounter dog poop, all the time on my daily walks, on the sidewalks, lawns. I love animals, take my dog racing, and always have poop bags!
There was a racer, with a medical situation, who couldn't handle the heat. We got stuck next to him at Pomona a few years back. His generator ran all night long, no exhaust, next to my parents' bedroom window. I talked to him the next morning and was dismayed at his attitude towards others discomfort. And the guys with the late night parties in their pits? Stock is out first, I'm up early, and make a lot of noise! Payback!
