Which is the better engine combo, 327 or 350 to run? I have Moroso front springs. Was leaning toward Calvert, but want to hear what the guys who race know what works. Car has stock front floors and new S&W ladder bar frame. The trunk floor center is in. The rest of floor is gone. Can I use plain steel to replace what is missing. from the frame rails out to the trunk drop offs floor under rear seat area, and flooring over the rear end or does it have to be factory metal? So if you remember this car you are at least 55 years old.
It should have the factory metal from the front of the ladder bar forward. The area behind that and out from the frame to the body can be flat metal. I have stock type Moog bushings and ball joints. Some of the guys put a longer ball joint on the top A arm to help with bump steer and geometry. I have not done that and my bump steer is less than 1/4 inch. I put a vega steering box and a light weight steering column with a removable wheel as well. I have Moroso springs and Santhuff double adjustable shocks on my car. Let me know if you want some pics of my front end. I have the engine out of the car at this time. Aerospace brakes too.
