I take it you are talking about Super Stock motors with a 4gc carb. Back in the day when my 283 520 head 4gc carb made 500 plus hp .95 under with todays indexs. 292 when you take bore and stroke = 1.71 hp per cubic inch, it would mean the 327 should make 560+ hp but there are lot of other factors into it also.
