24 pages later.....wow....

If your running a car that can go red, it doesn't matter, if your running a car that couldn't get a .550 light let alone anything close to red unless you left on the first yellow....then your at a disadvantage and need to adjust the car.
The issue is;
(1) fast cars don't need it,
(2) mid pack cars can be adjusted to hit the tree
(3) slow cars can't hit the tree and can't be adjusted enough to hit it.

So who loses (again) slow cars.

First to go red, you lose.
Can't go deep, you lose
What's next, if you can't hit 100mph then you automatically lose? Or is it if you don't have over $50,000 n the car then you automatically lose?

Maybe NHRA should talk to a bunch of U/SA racers and "have a poll" and see what the results would be??????

I thought that this thread went out with 2015 but it just keeps hanging around.Mr. Broke , I disagree with you regarding the Fast Guys. The fast guys needed all the rule revisions for SAFETYs sake....Wheelie bars for safety, aftermarket front disc brakes for Safety, aftermarket aluminum seats for Safety,wheelie bars for Safety, Fuel cells for Safety,......I told a stock eliminator racer many years ago......If an A/SA can figure out how to run over 130 MPH....he can figure out how to stop the car with factory brakes.

You ARE speaking for yourself right?
Ortiz and I don't seem to be having a problem (well, Ortiz has some other problems).
Then again, I never considered myself a loser either.
Why don't you start a thread about something that would help out slower classed cars. NHRA should come up with a way to control the wind and the weather! It's just not fair! Those dammed fast cars aren't as affected as much as we are! They should start enclosing and climate-controlling their tracks! It's just not fair!
