If you are building a car and do not even know what is legal that's asking for trouble. This is a rules based class, you better know the rules! Just because this guy or that guy says its legal on this forum or any other, may or may not be the best advice, based on how the question is being presented.

I wanted to say something like this but didn't want to step on anyone's toes. Lots of good people here, but you are still expected to figure stuff out yourself and bring the tough questions to the forum.

Before I started building my race car I built model cars and got into reproducing NHRA class cars like Pro Mod and Pro Stock. You just can't buy a kit for that. I had an NHRA rulebook, two SFI chassis spec books and a ton of photos from the track and the Net. The knowledge gained really helped with my build.

It's the same as..

Buy him a fish and he will starve......

Buy him a fishing pole and he will eat well the rest of his life.........

Let the rule book be his fishing pole.....
