Vintage Moroso tires

I had a pair like that on my Nova, late 60's/early 70's. Lost one when a front wheel bearing failed while flat-towing back from New York National one Sunday on Sunrise Highway!

I remember that the sidewall did have a big "WTB" on it so, like Mark mentioned, that does explain the Wholesale Tire and Battery connection!

I still remember the day that Dick looked at me and said Jim who would buy a tire with an Italian guy's name on it?

He had to place what in those day's was a large order to have them made and I told him his wife my want to kill him since in those day's money was tight.

Long story short he place the order and sold all of them!!
