I always had a great time talking to Alex at the races. My sympathy to Tony and Beth on this loss. I got to talk with Alex at the First "Northern Class Nationals". Thanks to Michael Beard for having Alex as the Grand Marshall of the event. Alex was very happy to be around all of his racing friends at the event. He will be missed!

I'm just heart broken. I know Beth and Tony are too. I was lucky to know Alex and call him a friend. My thoughts go back to 1999 when we were racing IHRA and I first met him. There were a lot of late night talk sessions where the idea of the US Class Nationals was born. He was interested in the success of class Racing in the 70's when we ran SS and Modified meets at my tracks. He was convinced Class Racing could be promoted and successful again. I'll never forget the Sat night talks and eat outs at those races when friendships developed.( Lynn Mccarty, Jack Mc Carthy, Joe Jackson & a few others all know) I'm saddened by our loss, but still very happy to have know Alex and I know he was a special guy to most anyone that knew him. My heart goes out to Beth and Tony. I pray for God to give them peace and understanding. RIP my friend Alex.

I never got to meet Alex. Only knew him through Class Racer. Totally enjoyed his commentary on many subjects on this forum. I didn't always agree with what he said, but enjoyed his dedication and enthusiasm of class racing. R.I.P Alex and condolences to his family and friends.

My deepest condolences to the Denysenko family. The knowledge and friendship that he and his family shared with many is appreciated, as well as the hospitality extended to me during the original U.S Class Nationals and at the IHRA events I use to travel to up north. A rare individual in the best ways. RIP Alex

This is truly a sad day. While I never met Alex in person, we talked on the phone and e-mailed , about cars, racing, dogs, and life in general things that helped me out.I will always cherish that I knew him. There is no doubt that he loved Stock/SuperStock racingand his presence will be greatly missed. My condolences to Beth, Tony, and the German Shepard, John Kissel

RIP Sir, only had a couple of conversations with you and truly enjoyed talking about the pros and cons of both the HRA's. Will always remember you saying "Man, I hate your tranny broke...wanted a good race between us in the semis. And Prayers to your family, Beth was so kind helping out with our injured Doberman at Dinwiddie! 'Till we meet again Sir... God Speed!!!
