Tom, It took me 3 tries to get one Holley Annihilator to work in my '98 dragster. These were all new units and had various problems including the no tach signal mentioned. I have a sportsman model on the shelf. It worked for about 2-3 seasons. I developed engine miss problems and replaced the entire ignition system. The Holley may NOT have been the problem as I found a damaged crank trigger pickup during the changeover. Dealing with Holley was not very productive.....I even had a 2 box Pro Model sent to me from their repair dept. No cables, no paperwork, nothing. I sent them a 1 box Sportsman model. I will say I loved it when it did work. No chips and the handheld programmer was real easy to use. I had it velcro'd in my ****pit and could change the setup real easy anytime. Rich
