I am fighting the same problem as we type. This is why I posted the question earlier of how to get a rod on the NHRA rod list for the 383. The problem I found with the 440 Source rod was the weight. It is 736-738 grams and he only has two sets left. No more will be made with the .990 pin and NHRA will need one. I did not think about bushing the small end as Jeff mentioned. Sounds like we might need to talk.
