Guys, just in case you missed the memo..Sam Tech is the sponsor of the Factory Stock Showdown. All the modifications are within the rules. Remember, NHRA is the organization that allows FORDs to use CHEVROLET rods in their stock Elminator engines...

I know, I know all about the Aussie school bus with the 390. I have worked on numerous at my shop. The friggin steering wheel is on the wrong side, the Holley carb is waaaay too big for a school bus and when my shop foreman pulled the bus in he about tore off that damn oil pan because it hangs waaaay too low...How about that Mr. Rusty ???

I can't see why this thread has gotten so far off topic?
Who gives a damn about the diameter of school bus rods- and what in the world does it have to do with the legality of a COPO engine, which by the rules submitted by GM to NHRA is completely and totally legal?
