I don't like the 4 wide format even for the "pro" classes. No really a big deal in qualifying. But in eliminations, no way.

How about class runoffs, 4 wide, using class indexes for handicap.
Heads up cars run heads up until 4 left. 1st to the finish line. This would be great, there is no lifting early because you cannot see what is going on in other lanes, you have to run it hard to the finish line. Would correct those combos which are soft |
