Why do the showdown cars get an extra time shoot? Doesn't seem right, but NHRA just keeps bending the rules at each race.

Either they are part of stock or they aren't make up your mind NHRA!

Ken or Jack, the question I have is are the traction problems a problem with the track or track prep or are there other issues?

They are still part of stock because they get the benefit of running in stock eliminator if they don't qualify for the "showdown".

What is wrong with the track? The NHRA crew has done a very good job this year at all the national events we have been to. Which tire hooked the best, or worst. Ken crossing the center line, Bo going up in smoke, Shipp's acting crazy, I'm kinda surprised that no did a "Barton" at the starting line.

I wouldn't been surprised to see Barton do a "Barton" as he crossed the center line doing a big wheelie but turning right at the same time this morning and during his first round bye run he spun wildly ........

Larry - didn't matter which tire as I saw all three brands spin big .

The cars that are getting an extra time run are the ones already qualified for the showdown that's what I'm saying. Has no effect on stock which is already in eliminations.
