There are 3 engine combo's that fit that class, 396/375, 427/425, 427/430.

I was hoping to get here sooner, but it was not to be. I was visiting the Fletcher's before heading to Norwalk. We left this morning hoping to get here by noon, but Dan had a tire go down on the trailer. No damage to the trailer, he caught it in time. An hour later and we are on our way. About 40 miles from the track a wheel bearing on the trailer burns up. Dan had to take the tire off, a driver side no less, on the highway and he limped into a service area. Another hour and a half, and with the axle tide up he limped into the track. Parts are on the way, and the axle is okay, but this is the kind of stuff that makes you think, is this all worth it.
I did get a few photos from the cars that were still out. Weather looks a little iffy in the morning, but the rest of the week looks good. |
