If you plugged the fittings , it would stop any flow through the torque converter, and stop all the flow into the lubrication circuits , not a good idea . If you are worried about rubber hoses , which is not a suggested loop , plumb it with 3/8" metal tubing , with the appropriate fittings . Works well !
